With the pre-orders for iPhone 4S starting today, and the customers expecting to hold first iPhone 4S just a week from now, there are questions about how much the newly iPhone will cost outside US.
In Europe, iPhone 4S will hit first the markets from United Kingdom, France and Germany. Apple Stores here will offer unlocked iPhone 4S and the carrier services will be provided separately.

The iPhone maker Apple Inc. is believed to be all set to release a new Mac OS X Lion update on coming Oct 12, according to new reports.
The company announced, during the iPhone 4S launch event, that iCloud was on its way and that it will be aimed at all mobile devices powered by the iOS 5 and Mac OS X 10.7, more commonly known as Lion.

Sony is reportedly thinking about the possibility of buying out Ericsson's stake in its joint mobile phone venture, but not everyone agrees it's a good idea.
Currently, Sony's place in the mobile hardware marketplace comes in its affiliation with Sony Ericsson, a quasi division within Sony, but one that it shares with a completely autonomous company called Ericsson.

Alibiba, of which Yahoo is a part-owner, is the big Chinese Internet company that is growing like a weed over there.

With less than 36 hours until Apple takes to its Cupertino stage and showcases its next-generation iPhone devices, Vodafone Germany has seemingly jumped the gun and started to add options to some of its iPhone accessory pages, detailing new iPhone 4S models and a new 8GB iPhone 4.
